Tomato Farming Project

Tomato is the favorite vegetable among the west African population, taking up to 40 percent of total household consumption of vegetables.

However, due to limitation in Agri-tech, such as viable seeds, irrigation, and distribution. The supply of tomato drops greatly during the dry season causing the price to increase by 3-4 folds.

Blue Fountain is supplying the market with fresh tomatoes that are grown from Volta Lakes using net-house irrigation technology.
