Chobi Ghana is one of the companies to support the ‘Relief Boxes Challenge’ since its launch on April 12, 2020.

Agro-chemicals company Chobi Ghana Ltd donated 300 boxes of food supplies to Rebecca Foundation’s ‘Relief Boxes Challenge.’ Each donated box contained a package of rice, sugar, cooking oil and Milo hot chocolate. Head of Finance and Logistics at Chobi Ghana Mr. Joseph Nanor urged Ghanaians to take Covid-19 seriously and adhere to government’s measures to stem its spread. Mr. Nanor thanked Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo for what he described as a “great initiative.”

The ‘Relief Boxes Challenge’ was set up by the Rebecca Foundation to support the socially vulnerable as a contribution to national efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Ghana. The challenge has already reached out to vulnerable women and other groups including Kayayei (female head porters), seniors, single mothers and other income-poor individuals who are most adversely impacted by the current Covid-19 situation. The foundation provided beneficiaries with food and hygiene supplies.

Chobi Ghana is one of the companies to support the ‘Relief Boxes Challenge’ since its launch on April 2, 2020. Chobi Ghana is an agro-chemicals company, which has been working for the last 5years to support government’s agenda for food security and agricultural productivity.
